There are no longer drop-in sessions but you can book appointments directly. Phone Nurse Jenny Ayres directly on 01543 478098.

Health Guidelines: If your child has a medical need then you must inform your child’s teacher. If appropriate the SENCO and school nurse will write a health care plan to ensure your child’s medical needs are met within school. The school nurse can be available. Please ring the office for an appointment. Available on Safeguarding page - there is a document detailing Infection Control guidelines for schools. If your child has an illness look for the advised time off school to prevent spread of that disease. Allergykids website has health advice and is recommended by Mrs Morris.

At Gorsemoor Primary we are happy for parents and carers to take video and photos of school events for personal use, but we request that these images are NOT distributed or put online. This is to protect all members of the community. Some children are ‘at risk’ and MUST NOT have their images posted online; some pupils/staff have a complex family background and some people have religious or personal reasons for not wanting their images available on the internet. Photo/video permission letter is on the left.

Complaints

If you have a complaint, you are asked, in the first instance, to discuss your concerns with the Headteacher. If this approach proves unsatisfactory in outcome, parents may address their concerns in writing to the Chair of the Governing Body or the Chief Education Officer, who may conduct investigations into the complaint. Finally, complaints may be addressed to the Secretary of State.
